To determine final salary, Babcock considers a variety of factors including the successful Candidate’s skills and experience and internal equity. The final base salary offer is at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
Description
In this role, you will:
Report directly to the Senior Manager Manitoba Aviation for Babcock Canada Inc
Work cohesively with a team of professionals in line with Babcock’s six principles and role model behaviour expected across our business
Provide timely, accurate and comprehensive reporting to support sound business decisions and risk mitigation
Develop and hold customer, industry and community partner relationships across both civilian and military sectors
Work with the business team to develop and prosecute strategies to grow across Canada in both civilian and defence markets
Assume full responsibility of tracking operational logistics, expenses, and sourcing viable solutions to reduce costs while increasing safety and efficiencies at the same time
Oversee the fleet of ground service equipment and vehicle maintenance schedules
Work effectively with peers across Babcock’s global network to ensure best practice in operations, timely embedding of technology solutions and enhanced service offerings to support the Aviation growth strategy
Assist in conducting accident investigations
Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate brings:
4+ years experience in operations, project management – experience in the aviation sector is an asset
Experience in Microsoft applications
Experience in large scale complex and regulated contracts
Experience of executing safe and complex operational delivery
Skills in managing relationships with stakeholders in customer organisations
Ability to work in a team environment
Eligibility for an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC)
