Expected Salary: $70,340 to $85,971
To determine final salary, Babcock considers a variety of factors including the successful Candidate’s skills and experience and internal equity. The final base salary offer is at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.

In this role, you will:
• Provide support troubleshooting Victoria Class Submarine Weapons system defects.
• Assist in answering Task Assistance Requests raised by the Victoria Class Submarine Repair Facility.
• Manage configuration of design documentation and technical data package.
• Provide assistance towards customer raised Minor Questions and Major Tasks.
• Participate in the development of innovative solutions to technical problems.
• Conduct onsite inspections/surveys of platform’s physical conditions and verify boat fit.
• Provide technical support to our customers in an active shipyard environment across multiple work fronts.
• Provide support for Repair and Overhaul of Weapons Handling and Discharge System assemblies.
The ideal candidate brings:
• An Engineering Technology diploma or certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of relevant experience as a Mechanical or Weapons Technologist.
• Registration, or eligible for registration, as an Applied Science Technologist (AScT) or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T) with the applicable provincial association.
• Demonstrated pragmatic problem-solving skills.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills, including writing formal reports.
• Effective computer skills including the MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of and experience working in marine and military operating environments.
• Experience working in a shipyard and knowledge of shipyard safe work practices is an asset.
• You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
