Expected Salary: $56,215 to $84,323

In this role, you will:
- Oversee and provide clear direction and guidance for the day-to-day operations of Inventory Control in support of both existing projects and new business opportunities (as required)
- Lead in the development of Inventory Control Processes and Procedures and Work Instructions
- Interface and maintain communication with all relevant stakeholders, internal and external
- Assist in the maintenance of all related documentation and Quality Assurance certification in accordance with applicable requirements
- Assist with the management of supply chain risks, as required
- Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities
- Provide report generation in Babcock’s inventory/enterprise control systems
- Develop reporting staff; set clear objectives; manage performance; develop skills and competencies
- Actively contribute to the occupational Health and Safety culture of Babcock Canada
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary and reasonable to support the business
The ideal candidate brings:
- You hold a High School Diploma or equivalent (College or University diploma an asset)
- You have three (3) years experience in the last five (5) working in a Warehouse/Inventory Management environment
- You have an understanding of risk management processes
- You are proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- You have proven communication skills, both verbally and written, and are able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- A professional Supply Chain Designation, such as Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) through the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) is considered an asset
- You have experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems particularly Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS) and Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) considered an asset
- You must be flexible for work hours; the successful individual may be required to work early mornings, late afternoons, and on-call weekends
- You are available for occasional travel, both locally and across Canada
- You will be eligible for Canadian NATO Secret Security, ITAR and Controlled Goods Clearances
