Quality Assurance Administrator (Temporary)

Quality Assurance Administrator (4 Month Contract/Part Time - 2 days a week)

Expected Salary : $18.01 to $20.78 per hour

In this role, you will:

 

  • Assist in the maintenance and control for all documents related to the Business Management System (BMS) in SharePoint.  Including document review, creation, approval, document life cycle, database integrity and interface with process owners.
  • Support the development and improvement of the Document management system.
  • Attend QA meetings and assist in the capture, creation and update of meeting minutes and distribution.
  • Support the development of a range of performance measures and metrics including analysing KPI’s for trends and provide action recommendations.
  • Assist in the coordination and scheduling of meetings and reminders for QA/HSE Documentation related Department activities.
  • Research, synthesize and draft various documents as required.
  • Monitor Quality Assurance and QA Document Control inboxes.
  • Other duties as necessary.

 

The ideal candidate brings:

 

  • You are enrolled in a post-secondary program in Technical Writing or another related field.
  • You have some experience in technical writing experience and an understanding documentation control management.
  • You are a self-starter and be able to work independently or in a team.
  • You have strong oral and written communication skills and some experience in analysis, organization and editing of edit information for online viewing.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office software suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio and PowerPoint).
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with SharePoint environment (preferred development experience), PDF and OneNote would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of quality management and/or integrated management systems based on International Organization for Standardization (ISO) or equivalent would be an asset.
  • Knowledge in Health, Safety and Environment practices and regulations would be an asset.
  • Eligible for a Canadian Secret Security Clearance and Controlled Goods
