In this role, you will:

 

  • Provide specialist level functional and configuration support for the IFS Solution in the Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain areas of the IFS Apps solution.
  • Key member of the ERP project team ensuring delivery of the IFS APP Cloud solution.
  • Work with the Service Desk and the IFS team to facilitate incident & problem resolution.
  • Work with IFS and third parties to deliver the IFS solution and resolve software bugs where applicable.
  • Co-ordinates and leads IFS releases and upgrades with the IFS team and relevant business leads/owners, to ensure successful testing and delivery.
  • Perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for all IFS related processes.
  • Participate in user requirements gathering, blueprinting & documentation designs.
  • Ensure compliance to existing, and development of required data and reporting standards.
  • Proactively engage with the Solution Architects/Leads to ensure the integrity, future design and change management of the IFS Solution.
  • Proactively drive data management, maintenance, control, and accuracy.
  • Support business implementations, patching and upgrades by sharing best practice support, testing and configuration skills.
  • Provide excellent customer engagement with responding to customer incidents, requirements, problem resolution and process modeling.
  • Ensure Service/Incident Management system, knowledge base and supporting documentation is updated and accurate.
  • Conduct configuration changes to accommodate change requests/improvements.
  • Assist in training activities and advice and guidance to the business.
  • Perform initial testing of incident/problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality.
  • Keep abreast of IFS releases, enhancements/new functionality and perform application research.
  • Participate in new functionality/enhancement assessments and make recommendations.
  • Develop functional specifications and work with business resources to complete object development and testing.
  • Collaborate with peer IFS Functional Leads internationally to share and adopt best practice and optimal solutions.

 

The ideal candidate brings:

 

  • Proven support and business process knowledge of master data, GL, AP, AR, Asset accounting, Profit centre accounting, Document splitting and Treasury.
  • Proven support and business process knowledge of Procurement, Warehouse Mgt, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Material Requirement Planning.
  • Proven configuration in IFS Finance, Project Systems, Master Data (Material & Vendor Master), Procurement Process, Account Determination & Valuation of Material, Inventory Management, Invoice Verification and Material Requirement Planning
  • Exceptional understanding of configuration dependencies and integration points between separate functional modules of IFS.
  • Understanding of the business processes for Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain and how the application supports the processes. Apply this knowledge to solve problems and delivery of changes / enhancements.
  • A university degree or relevant experience in Finance or Information Management.
  • 5 Years of hands-on IFS Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain implementation, configuration, and support experience.
  • Proven experience of IFS implementations.
  • Integration experience with other IFS Modules/Solutions and Third-Party systems.
  • You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
