The role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you are at the heart of a multi-million-pound international project, supporting the construction of a sodium treatment facility. This is a unique opportunity to work within a regulated environment on a long-term programme that expands your expertise in commercial management and construction.
Day-to-day, you’ll
- Manage NEC4 contracts, particularly post-contract activities
- Support procurement and supply chain management
- Advise on budget control, risk and change management
- Provide strategic reporting and forecasting to the client
- Ensure commercial transparency and value for money
This is a permanent position, based in Warrington (Cheshire) or Moor Row (Cumbria) with a 37-hour working week. You benefit from hybrid working arrangements, spending two days per week in the office, with travel to the client site expected once a week.
Essential experience of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Experience managing NEC contracts, ideally post-contract phase
- Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a regulated environment
- Construction experience
Qualifications for the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- A degree in a relevant field is desirable but not essential
Security Clearance
