The Role
As a Project Controls Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Working as part of our Cavendish Nuclear business unit, you will work closely with the internal teams, looking at project progress, cost control and forecasting, and gathering independent evidence to provide confidence to the client that the project is likely to achieve the success criteria and to enable PMO requirements to flow down into the supply chain.
Day to day, you’ll be responsible for establishing/maintaining or adhering to the specific PMO governance, processes and procedures across a project.
• Establishing project baseline in terms of scope/cost/schedule
• Manage scheduling staff to develop, manage, revise and analyse integrated project schedules
• Develop, implement and update resource allocations
• Integration and alignment of project control toolsets
• Establishing governance reviews at appropriate points during the project lifecycle.
Experience Required
• Extensive experience in a PMO position
• Relevant experience within a similar environment / business sector
• Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase to close out
• Awareness of various contracting methodologies (eg FIDIC, NEC3, JCT etc)
37 Hours per week with a hybrid working arrangement
Qualifications required
• Bachelors degree in relevant field
• Ideally APM qualified
• Postgraduate qualification / membership to professional body desirable
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
