The role
As a Commissioning Manager you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll deliver commissioning projects to meet the appropriate national legal requirements and client’s requirement specification, as well as developing technical specifications and applied standards. You’ll also provide commission ability input into the concept, detail design and construction processes.
Day to day, you’ll:
- Manage all activities in line with Company, Customer and project requirements, defines and implements the Commissioning Strategy for the project
- Be the focal point for the Company, Customer and sub-contractors
- Ensure all activities are planned, assessed and managed so that risks or hazards are adequately identified and controlled to ensure compliance with relevant Company and Customer standards, expectations, rules and procedures
This role full-time position, 37 hours per week, with hybrid working from home options
Essential experience of the Commissioning Manager:
- Demonstrable experience of managing complex commissioning projects in a highly regulated environment (preferably Nuclear)
Qualifications for the Commissioning Manager:
- Vocational Qualification Level 6 / Bachelor’s Degree / SVQ Level 4
- Membership of an appropriate Engineering Institution
Or
- NVQ Level 4 / HNC-HND / SVQ Level 3 augmented with specific experience
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
