The role

As a Commercial Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. you play a pivotal role in supporting one of our most significant long‑term programmes: the Monju project, an international partnership focused on delivering a world‑class sodium processing facility in the UK.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to

  • Manage the end‑to‑end commercial lifecycle for a complex, multi‑phase project.
  • Oversee contract delivery, ensuring compliance with NEC methodologies and commercial best practice.
  • Lead supplier and contract management activities, including early warnings and change control.
  • Partner with project teams and joint venture colleagues to support decision-making and risk management.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

 

This position is a 37‑hour‑per‑week role, based at our Warrington site. Hybrid working patterns are available. Bristol may be considered for the right candidate.

 

Essential experience of the Commercial Manager:

  • Experience managing contracts of medium to high complexity, value, or risk.
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end commercial lifecycle management.
  • Awareness of NEC contract methodologies.
  • Experience managing suppliers and engaging in collaborative commercial delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a project-driven environment.

Security Clearance
