The role
As a HSE Safety Advisor you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The HSE Safety Advisor is responsible for ensuring that the Cavendish complies with safety, health, and environmental regulations, as well as implementing policies and procedures to manage risks and hazards. They collaborate with other teams and stakeholders, to ensure that safety, health, and environmental considerations are integrated into all aspects of the organisation's activities.

 

Day to day, You’ll:

  • Play a critical role in ensuring that Babcock operates in a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Manage risks, implementing effective policies and procedures, and conducting training and investigations, individuals in these roles help to protect employees, the public, and the environment, while ensuring that Babcock complies with all relevant regulations and standards.

 

This role is full time role, 37 hours per week and is based predominantly at Hinkley Point with some travel to other Cavendish sites.

 

Essential experience of the HSE Safety Advisor:

  • Previous experience of working as a HSE Advisor within a highly regulated environment
  • Previous experience of working with Nuclear is advantageous but not essential
  • Extensive experience of stakeholder interaction
  • Typically recognised by an industry/professional body

 

Qualifications for the HSE Safety Advisor:

  • IOSH or NEBOSH Qualification

 

Security Clearance
