The role
As a Project Assistant, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will play a key part in the smooth running of one of Cavendish Nuclear’s biggest programmes.
Day-to-day, you’ll support the implementation of key stakeholder and communications management plans.
- Support change control activities on the project.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create and maintain up-to-date continuous improvement logs, with ownership of activities as desired.
- Play a key role in security and safety standards adherence. This role will be a point of contact for security control and safe ways of working.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. This role is adaptable and can be delivered from various locations including Newbury, Stoke Gifford, or Warrington and may require some travel to Cavendish Nuclear hubs.
Essential experience of the Project Assistant:
- Able to effectively prioritise different tasks whilst meeting deadlines.
- Able to build strong relationships across business functions.
- Able to translate verbal information into written summaries.
- Junior Project Management or Administration experience would be advantageous. However, training will be provided on all elements on this role, so candidates with other experience who can demonstrate desired behaviours are encouraged to apply.
