The role
As a Production Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be involved with various projects from routine manufacturing to bespoke, one-off project work with varying degrees of complexity e.g. supporting Nuclear projects (Power Stations) due to complete in 2029/ 2030.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll provide technical assistance to the task in their control, ensuring any queries or deviations are appropriately recorded and authorised in compliance with the Business Management System.

  • Ensure work is planned and executed both in line with the Business Management System and the project specific requirements as detailed on the Project Scope Authorisation (PSA).
  • Undertake pre-job and post job briefs with all relevant personnel, to ensure the execution activities are fully understood by all involved.
  •  Produce input into resource and labour planning to satisfy the needs of a project programme for their respective work area. 
  • Ensure all activities are appropriately planned in accordance with the CNL Health and Safety Business Management system such that any risks are as low as reasonably practicable.

 

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Leicester.


Essential experience of the Production Engineer:

  • Proven experience within a related job role.


Qualifications for the Production Engineer:

  • HND/HNC in a mechanical discipline.
  • IOSH managing safely.
