The role

As a Project Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-value, long-term defence infrastructure programme that supports national security.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

  • Managing project delivery across the full project lifecycle, ensuring scope, cost, schedule and quality objectives are achieved
  • Collaborating with customers, joint venture partners and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and project alignment
  • Leading and supporting project teams, including providing direction to junior project professionals
  • Monitoring project performance, risks and opportunities, implementing effective mitigation strategies where required
  • Producing project reports and presenting progress updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders

 

This is a full-time, permanent role working 37 hours per week based at our Glasgow site.

 

Essential experience of the Project Manager:

  • Demonstrable experience working as a Project Manager with full project lifecycle responsibility
  • Experience delivering civil infrastructure or major engineering projects
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders within complex project environments
  • Experience applying recognised project management methodologies and best practice
  • Strong communication, planning and organisational skills

 

Qualifications for the Project Manager:

  • Degree qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience
