The role
As a Services Team Leader, you’ll take ownership of service delivery in one of the UK’s most critical sectors - nuclear. This is a role where leadership meets purpose: you’ll ensure safety, quality, and operational excellence while shaping the future of clean energy and national security. Day-to-day, you’ll be:
- Leading and motivating a service delivery team to meet schedules and quality standards.
- Driving health, safety, environmental, and security compliance through example and accountability.
- Managing resource planning and team development to maximise performance.
- Ensuring training and technical compliance across all staff.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Sellafield, near Seascale, Cumbria.
Essential experience of the Services Team Leader
- Proven experience in an engineering, technical service, or scientific discipline.
- Background in nuclear or other regulated/high-hazard industries.
- Strong track record in managing people and delivering work scope execution.
Qualifications for the Services Team Leader
- Relevant scientific or engineering qualification (e.g., apprenticeship or degree).
- Understanding of Radiological Protection (RPI) is highly desirable.
Security Clearance
