The role

As an Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. you will be at the heart of a site that supports nationally significant defence and clean‑energy programmes. This is an excellent opportunity to develop broad experience across multiple functions in a dynamic and purpose‑driven environment.

 

This is a 37‑hour per week position, based on site, five days per week at our Moor Row, Cumbria site.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

  • Welcome visitors, issue passes and guide them through building procedures.
  • Arrange meetings and book rooms to support the smooth running of daily operations.
  • Use systems such as SAP to raise orders and complete time bookings.
  • Act as the first point of contact for general administrative tasks.
  • Support invoicing, document control and occasional customer queries.

 

Essential experience of the Administrator:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, or NVQ Level 2 in Administration.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
  • Strong organisational skills with a proactive approach.

 

Qualifications for the Administrator:

Essential:

  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) or NVQ Level 2 in Administration.

Preferred:

  • Experience using SAP, Coupa or similar systems.

 

Security Clearance
