The Role
As a Commercial Specialist, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will have the opportunity to work on a key national project, Sizewell C power station, by supporting the MEH Alliance during its formation and delivery.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for providing commercial support to the Alliance, whilst reporting directly to the Commercial Lead:

 

  • Management of commercial and contractual aspects with the Client.
  • Ensuring compliance within internal corporate governance and approvals.
  • Managing self-performed aspects of the scope.

 

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Bristol, on a weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.

 

Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. We are happy to consider flexible, blended working, including part-time, condensed hours, and job sharing. Please ask about alternative patterns of work at interview. 

 

Essential Experience of the Commercial Specialist: 

  • Proven track record of assisting with the delivery of robust commercial management on contracts and bids.
  • Commercial management of large-scale projects.
  • Experience in providing commercial specialist input into bids and contracts.
  • Demonstratable evidence of developing and sustaining positive working relationships, including the ability to negotiate commercial terms.
  • Working knowledge of NEC contracts is highly desirable but, not essential.

 

Qualifications for the Commercial Specialist: 

  • Holding or working towards a recognised professional qualification is desirable but, not essential (IACCM, WCC, PGCCM or equivalent / similar).

 

Security Clearance
