The role

As a Supplier - Driver you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll play a vital role in the provision of logistical support to RAF service personnel at the air defence radar station at Staxton Wold.  

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for:

• Providing logistical support to the site, from radar spares and equipment to clothing and furniture
• Carrying out driving tasks using a range of vehicles
• Spare parts management and maintenance
• Data entry to manage and maintain the spares inventory
• Providing support to a mobile radar unit
• Supporting site personnel with furniture supply and movement

This role is full time and based onsite at RHH Staxton Wold, located 10 miles from Scarborough in North Yorkshire. Note that there is no public transport to the site, so the successful candidate will need to have their own vehicle.

Essential experience of the Supplier - Driver

• Previous experience in MOD Supply procedures would be an advantagous, however training will be given where required
• Profient in IT Operating Systems (MS Office Suite) and the Internet
• Customer support experience    
• Colour perception test will be required

Qualifications for the Supplier - Driver

• Full Driving License B & D (minibus)

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance for this role.
