About the role
As the Workshop Supervisor, you will lead a skilled team of Workshop staff to deliver high quality maintenance and repair services to our customers.
You’ll manage resources, drive continuous improvement, and foster collaboration across employees, customers, and stakeholders. Your role includes overseeing compliance inspections, optimising equipment performance, and ensuring detailed technical reporting. You’ll also lead workforce planning, performance management, and customer engagement, all while promoting a strong safety culture.
About you
You’re an experienced and confident leader with a strong background in workshop or asset management. You understand the importance of compliance and consistently uphold contractual, legislative, and safety standards. Your proactive approach to continuous improvement and ability to inspire teams through change make you a trusted and effective manager. With excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, you build strong partnerships and deliver results. You’re technically proficient, collaborative, and committed to maintaining a safe, high-performing work environment.
To be successful in this position you will bring:
- Australian Citizenship with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of Hydraulic systems, plant equipment maintenance and repair management
- Experience with ERP software or a similar asset life cycle costing / computerised asset maintenance and repair management system
- Current Drivers Licence, Light Rigid Class Drivers licence and Forklift Licence
- Frontline Management Qualifications (Diploma preferred) and / or Mechanical Engineering Technical Qualification
