The role
As a Mechanical Technician Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll constantly develop new ideas and bring them to life.

Day-to-day, you’ll supervise and participate in routine and reactive mechanical maintenance across a range of assets, including but not limited to, antenna structures and associated ancillary equipment.

• Lead a team of mechanical technicians to meet or exceed the team KPI’s
• Supervise and participate in the delivery of general mechanical engineering planned preventative maintenance across a range of assets by a team of mechanical technicians
• Liaise with and co-ordinate sub-contractors where necessary to complete a range of mechanical engineering tasks
• Obtain and provide quotations for works in your area of expertise as directed by the Site Manager or his superiors, including written job specifications. 
• Supervise and participate in mechanical system installation tasks as required

This position involves working at height. Candidates must be able to work safely and perform tasks at varying heights.

This role is full time, 37-hours per week and is based on site at Bude.

Essential experience of the Mechanical Technician Supervisor

• Ability to work at height
• Computer literate, knowledge of MS Office
• Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) Operation or the willingness to be trained
• EFAW/FAW qualification as applicable or the willingness to be trained

Qualifications for the Mechanical Technician Supervisor

• HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge gained through relevant experience
• Clean UK driving licence

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role.
