The Role
As a Corrosion Control Technician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This role offers variety in locations for work, environment and no two days are the same. Opportunity for advancement within the role and within the wider Babcock.

Day-to-day, you’ll carry out corrosion control maintenance activities of the site satellite communication antennas/aerials/masts and respond to breakdowns as directed.

• Carry out Corrosion Control inspections and repairs.
• Assist other trades as directed by the supervisor or his superiors.
• Authorised Person (Antenna) duties.
• Participation in a roster to provide an out-of-hours on-call service as required.
• Update Management Information System for planning and recording tasks.
• Ensure Company health, safety and environmental procedures are always implemented and complied with.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Bude, Cornwall. 

Essential Experience of the Corrosion Control Technician

• Working at Height
• Capable of Using Compressed Air tools and Heavy Machinery
• First Aid at Work
• Computer literate, knowledge of MS Office
• Telehandler Operation

Qualifications for the Corrosion Control Technician

• Minimum GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
   

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Enhanced Developed Vetting (EDV) security clearance for this role.
