The role
As a Operations Clerk you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager you will ensure the provision of operational support to the flying task.


Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare briefing material for the upcoming days flying, co-ordinate and display aircraft allocation and display royal flight and NOTAM information. 
  • You will ensure relevant publications; maps charts and documents are to the correct amendment state and readily available in the Ops room. 
  • You will compile statistical data and have a good understanding of flying operations system databases. 
  • Assist in post-crash management procedures providing administrative support to the Duty Pilot.


This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Cosford. However, the company may, on occasion, ask you to deploy to other sites or support detachments at other operating locations.

 

Essential experience of the Operations Clerk:

  • Previous operational experience
  • Stakeholder engagement or collaboration with other terms
  • Experience of working within required business timelines
  • Understanding of MOD processes


Qualifications for the Operations Clerk:

  • Full Driving License


Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS and DBS clearance for this role.
