The role
As a Operations Clerk, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager you will ensure the provision of operational support to the flying task.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Day to day running of an operation room. 
  • Coordination of the flying program and aircraft allocation
  • Evidence of working with NOTAMS (notices to Airman information) collate and display Royal Flights.
  • Compile daily, weekly, monthly stats as required.
  • Ensure relevant publications, maps and charts are up to date and readily available.

 

This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Cosford.

 

Essential experience of the Operations Clerk:

  • Previous operational experience
  • Experience of working within required business timelines
  • Understanding of MOD processes
  • Experience of support to military or civilian flying operations
  • Previous Military or Civilian Flight Operations background or strategic understanding of military aviation operations


Qualifications for the Operations Clerk:

  • Full Driving License

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS security clearance for this role.
