The role

As a Training Services Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the growth strategy for our Training Services portfolio. This is an opportunity to influence services that support the defence and security of the nation making it not only an exciting, dynamic position, but one that carries real purpose.

 

You’ll lead activity across core Training Services functions including Analysis, Design, Media Development and Delivery. Your work will directly influence the performance, quality and future direction of Babcock’s training capability, supporting customer success while driving your own professional development in a high‑impact, future‑focused environment.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll:

  • Drive and deliver the Training Services growth strategy to meet future business needs
  • Identify and develop opportunities to expand services with existing customers
  • Lead the identification and management of frameworks that enable strategic growth
  • Oversee P&L for the Training Services sold services portfolio to meet revenue, profit and cash targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain strong, productive relationships

 

This role is full time, 40 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days onsite and days working from home.

 

Essential experience of the Training Services Contract Manager

  • Proven leadership experience with full P&L accountability
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver growth strategies for high‑volume, day‑rate services
  • Strong understanding of the full training lifecycle (Analysis, Design, Media, Delivery, Assurance)
  • Knowledge of the defence training environment
  • Experience engaging effectively with customers and senior stakeholders

 

Qualifications for the Training Services Contract Manager

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
