The role
As a Digital Engineer / BIM Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary where you’ll have an excellent opportunity to have an active role in shaping the team strategy and development plan to ensure the team are at the forefront of digital engineering delivery.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be focused on project delivery, providing core Building Information Modelling (BIM), Digital Engineering and Information Management (IM) services from tender to completion.

 

  • Contribute to the strategy, implementation, and support of BIM (in line with ISO 19650) including responsibility for creation and management of related documentation such as BEPs.
  • BIM Model Management to include model federation across multiple disciplines, quality checks, clash detection, clash reports and coordination workshops.
  • Digital rehearsal to include digital rehearsal such as sequencing, animation, and model take offs 
  • Document management and model sharing across disciplines and partners.
  • Stakeholder / project partner engagement across the programme to support requirements and deliverables across the programme.

 

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

 

Essential experience of the Digital Engineer / BIM Manager:

  • Experience in BIM implementation management and/qualifications within complex projects.
  • Expertise utilising Autodesk solutions such as Revit, Navisworks, Synchro and document management software. Experience in other solutions will be an advantage but not essential
  • Experience in delivering/managing 3D CAD models/data would be advantageous but not essential.
  • A strong desire for continuous improvement and innovation

 

Qualifications for the Digital Engineer / BIM Manager:

  • Degree and/or equivalent experience in a digital or architecture, engineering or construction field.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
