Bring powerful stories to life and shape how the world sees our mission.

At Babcock we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as an Assistant Creative Content Producer. You’ll be based close to one of our main hubs, including Rosyth, Warrington, Bristol or Plymouth — with weekly travel to other sites, as required.

The role

As an Assistant Creative Content Producer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll help transform complex ideas into compelling, accessible, and inspiring multimedia content. Your work will play a vital role in showcasing our sustainability, safety, engineering, and operational achievements - helping colleagues, customers, and partners understand the impact we make across defence, aerospace, and engineering.

Day‑to‑day you’ll be required to:

  • Deliver engaging multimedia content including video, photography, and digital design.
  • Produce, shoot, and edit creative assets from concept through to delivery.
  • Work closely with communications, marketing, operations, and technical teams to bring their messages to life.
  • Develop fresh ideas that support awareness campaigns, learning content, branding, and internal/external communications.
  • Stay ahead of digital trends and recommend innovative approaches to content creation.

This role is full time, 36 hours per week, with a hybrid working arrangement. You’ll be based remotely but will need to live within reasonable travel distance of one of our main Babcock hubs, including Rosyth, Warrington, Bristol or Plymouth. The Associate Creative Content Producer role involves regular travel to our sites across the UK for shoots and meetings, typically around two days per week on site, with occasional limited international travel.

Essential experience of the Assistant Creative Content Producer

  • Strong experience in visual content production, including video and photography.
  • Proficiency with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects for editing and motion graphics.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications for the Assistant Creative Content Producer

  • Degree‑level qualification or relevant training/education in media, film, digital design, or a related field.
