The role

As a Workshop Supervisor Support, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Your work will free up supervisors to spend more time on the shop floor leading their teams, while you take ownership of key administrative, compliance and reporting tasks. It’s a role that offers plenty of variety, visibility across the operation and great potential for personal and professional growth.

 

Day‑to‑day you’ll be:

  • Completing data entry, reporting and record‑keeping tasks to support workshop performance
  • Carrying out compliance checks and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Coordinating and booking visitors, including escorting them across site when required
  • Supporting supervisors with office‑based tasks that allow them to spend more time with their teams
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders across the workshop, production, and support teams

 

This position is full-time, 37 hours per week, based on-site at Bovington.

 

Essential experience for the Workshop Supervisor Support role:

  • Proficient in PC applications including Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint and ERP systems
  • Experience working in an administrative, coordination or support‑based role
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Good communication skills and confidence engaging with multiple stakeholders
  • A proactive, detail‑focused approach to completing tasks accurately

 

Qualifications for the Workshop Supervisor Support role:

  • Educated to Level 2 in the National Qualification Framework (e.g., GCSE grade C or above, Level 1 NVQ, Level 1 Diploma)

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) /security clearance for this role.
