The role

As a Driver, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. We're seeking a dedicated Driver to take the wheel and safely operate and maintain Transport Vehicles at our Bovington Camp location. If you have the driving experience and skills, you'll become an integral part of our dynamic team, offering support ranging from mission-critical driving tasks to helping our staff reach their destinations hassle-free.

Day to day, you’ll drive you will:

 

  • Carry out all maintenance tasks as specified in Level 1 publications for vehicle type
  • Work to be carried out in accordance with authorised procedures and to be completed to the highest possible standard
  • Carry out non-specific preparatory work on vehicles including general cleaning, washing and refuelling in order to support customer requirements
  • Provide assistance to the Customer when required whilst equipment is on charge
  • Any reasonable additional ad hoc duties, within the spirit of the role of a Transport driver, as may be required

 

This is a full-time role based at our Bovington site with flexible working arrangements.

 

Essential experience of the Driver

  • Driving licence Cat C and Cat B
  • Driver CPC/Driver Digi Card
  • Confident to communicate with customers
  • Ability to complete all administrative tasks required by a professional driver (Time sheets, Route Planning, Recording of Drivers hours and Drivers CPC Training)

 

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
