The role
As the Midlands Cluster Facilities Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. To lead a mixture of hard and soft FM service delivery teams and sub-contractors to manage and maintain the property and services to all customers and stakeholders across the Midlands cluster of sites.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll ensure customer services, performance and budget targets are monitored and met using a balance of internal self-delivery teams and external contractors. Managing the facilities support function across a number of geographical sites and across the Babcock Group FM department. Providing a professional support service to the Regional Cluster FM team and Group Facilities Department, supporting and working cooperatively with all employees to pro-actively plan staff activities and ensuring all processes are followed to a standard appropriate to meet business needs. Further responsibilities include:

  • Support the implementation of Business Continuity.
  • Delivery of best practice standards as appropriate across the functions
  • Establishing and maintaining regular interaction with appropriate cross-function departments
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Facilities team and other colleagues as and when requested
  • Maintain Compliance of all Assets in line with Company Policy and Legal Procedures

 

This role is full time,40 hours per week and requires regular travel across various sites within the Midlands 

 

Essential experience of the Midlands Cluster Facilities Supervisor:

  • Relevant professional qualification: IWFM (or working towards) Or equivalent qualification or comparable through experience in role related subject
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of working within a Hard and Soft FM service
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory and legislative requirements and British Standards

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) and NPPV1 security clearance for this role.
