The role

As an HR Business Partner, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be a key driver of strategic and operational people solutions, directly influencing business performance and employee experience. This is a dynamic opportunity to lead HR initiatives in a fast-paced, unionised production environment, where your expertise will shape workforce development, support bid strategies and foster collaborative relationships across all levels of the organisation.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

 

  • Leading HR operations and project delivery at the West Midlands Production Facility
  • Advising senior stakeholders and managers on complex employee relations and organisational challenges
  • Supporting and guiding the on-site HR Advisor to ensure consistent HR service delivery
  • Building strong, constructive relationships with trade union representatives
  • Balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on problem solving and agile decision-making

 

This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with three to four days on-site and up to two days from home.

 

Essential experience of the HR Business Partner:

  • Leading HR strategy across diverse, complex organisations
  • Driving change and challenging the status quo within a business setting
  • Delivering successful employee and industrial relations outcomes
  • Managing HR processes including reorganisation, redundancy, TUPE, bid support and mobilisation
  • Operating in fast-paced, multi-site environments with strong commercial acumen

 

Qualifications for the HR Business Partner:

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Check (SC) / NPPV2 (Met Police Clearance) security clearance for this role.
