The role
As the Facilities Management Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will oversee the successful business delivery of FM Services including minor projects within the Regional Cluster. Ensuring Customer Services, performance and budget targets are monitored and met using a balance of internal self-delivery teams and external contractors.  You will provide a professional support service to the Regional Cluster FM team and Group Facilities Department, supporting and working cooperatively with all employees to pro-actively plan staff activities.

 

Day-to-day, youll lead FM service delivery teams and sub-contractors to manage and maintain the properties and services across a regional cluster of Sites.

  • You will support the implementation of Business Continuity.
  • Support in the delivery of best practice standards as appropriate across the functions
  • You will establish and maintain regular interaction with appropriate cross-function departments
  • You will provide coaching and mentoring to Facilities team and other colleagues as and when requested.
  • You will maintain compliance of all Assets in line with Company Policy and Legal compliance

 

This role is full time, 40 hours per week and requires regular travel across various sites within the Midlands 
 
Essential experience of the Facilities Management Supervisor- Midlands:

  • To undertake necessary training to become a Responsible Person / Subject Matter Expert in a Service Delivery of Hard or Soft FM.
  • Knowledge and understanding of working within a Hard or Soft FM service.
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory and legislative requirements and British Standards or how to obtain and instigate these requirements

 

Qualifications for the Facilities Management Supervisor- Midlands:

  • National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ) Level 3 in Leadership and Management (Nebs / ILM / IWFM) or equivalent 
  • NEBOSH General Health and Safety Certificate Or be willing to work towards these upon taking the role. 
  • IWFM (or working towards) Or equivalent qualification or comparable through experience qualification in role related subject. 


Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) and NPPV1 security clearance for this role.
