About the role

Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit an EMC Test Engineer.

You’ll work as part of a team to ensure the smooth day to day running of the EMC test facility.

Key Objectives / Accountability:
• To advise on all aspects of EMC and RF in all current & future projects
• To advise best practice techniques used during vehicle builds
• To prepare test plans and proposals to ensure customer and contractual criteria is met and understood
• To evaluate test reports and present them in a professional report
• To carry out EMC testing including DDC and RADHAZ on various vehicle types
What do I need to do the role?
You’ll need to have extensive experience of EMC testing and be educated to G.C.S.E. standard or equivalent.

Would also like you to have experience in all or some of the following:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain good internal relationships.
• Ability to act as a credible representative of the company to external parties.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results.
• Experience of working in an automotive / engineering environment is desirable

What else do I need to know?
• The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
