The Role
As a CAD Design Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll assist in the development of mechanical designs for a variety of specialist vehicle projects from concept through to completion.

Day to day, you’ll use design software to design products from small brackets to full vehicle conversions.

• Participate in the life cycle of product development
• Create tailored documents to present new designs or modifications
• Create operating instructions and project files
• Produce 3D models and engineering drawings

This role is full time, 40 hours per week, working onsite in our Walsall facility.

Essential experience of the CAD Design Engineer

• Mechanical Design experience
• Ability to produce 3D models and engineering drawings
• Ability to apply basic engineering calculations
• Experience of working in an automotive environment beneficial

Qualifications for the CAD Design Engineer

• HNC / HND in relevant engineering subject preferred however not essential

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC and NVPP1 security clearance for this role.
