Assistant Contract Account Manager


£26k - £30k, dependant on experience


About the role


Here at Babcock International, we’re looking to recruit an Assistant Contract Account Manager to join our Vehicle Engineering business, to support all Customer Contract activities in order to achieve Excellence in Customer Satisfaction. 


You will be a primary point of contact for the client, and ensure that all concerns are swiftly addressed, and also influence Babcock’s stakeholders to deliver in line with customer expectations. You will also liaise regularly with colleagues on the shop floor to ascertain progress against orders.


The role will be some customer facing activity but the majority is conducted over the phone or via email.


This is an exciting opportunity working at a large Defence Organisation with potential wider opportunities within Babcock for the right individual.


What do I need to do the role?


  • You will have experience in developing customer relationships and some account management duties
  • You will also have the ability to develop and maintain good internal relationships at all levels
  • You will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team to achieve desired results.
  • Microsoft office skills, in particular Excel
