Expected Salary : $63,055.00 to $94,583.00

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate material activities for the Extended Docking Work Period (EDWP) and In Service Support.
  • Coordinate material conflicts against the project schedule requirements.
  • Manage the development of material supply requirements in support of schedule.
  • Manage on-site execution and material interfaces in line with Victoria In Service Support Contract (VISSC) processes.
  • Resolve quality and technical inspection issues regarding material supply issues.
  • Resolve supply conflicts with material expected delivery dates to minimise impact to overall projects as single point of contact for project procurement recovery actions.
  • Manage all communications with procurement department, warehouse and required stakeholders including reporting on supply chain status against individual project requirements.
  • Support the project in identifying and tracking boat to boat repair & overhaul activities, inclusive of delivery dates against project schedules.
  • Monitor and set engineering priorities for material technical inquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

The ideal candidate brings:

  • 4-8 years’ experience in a military supply chain setting or the shipbuilding industry.
  • Experience communicating with senior managers, customers, sub-contractors, and project staff.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft suite.
  • Skills as a self starter with the ability to work without direction.
  • Submarine experience is an asset due to the complexity on the specific technology.
  • Supply Chain certification is preferred.
  • You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance.
