Expected Salary : $63,055 to $94,583

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for the preparation and management of project schedules for the purpose of bidding or live project monitoring and control
  • Liaise with Project Management, Planning and Production teams to ensure capture planning interfaces and dependencies
  • Produce bid schedules with input from stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain time and resource levelled schedules for projects
  • Analyze project schedules to ensure status, accuracy and variances are captured
  • Produce and evaluate information from project schedule for management team
  • Produce overall project resource labour loading curves
  • Produce and maintain cardinal date plan, critical path analysis and key event plan

 

The ideal candidate brings:

  • Exceptional 5 years' experience working in project scheduling, preferably in an Engineering or Marine environment 
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills with the ability to collate and present information at appropriate levels
  • Proactive with the ability to react quickly when necessary to meet challenging objectives
  • A working knowledge with progressing/work package database etc. (Project Estimating and Planning System (PEPS) is desirable)
  • Proficient user of Primavera and/or Microsoft Project
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel skills
  • Submarine refit / Surface Ship refit experience or large-scale construction experience would be an asset
  • You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
