Senior Business Improvement Manager

About the Role

This position is all about working within our various programs / project teams to implement business improvement initiatives. You will consistently contribute at a senior level to deploy business improvement and continuous improvement capability across Babcock’s Australian and New Zealand business units and programs.

 

Using your exceptional improvement, change management (or even consulting environment) skills, you will be responsible for developing, planning, implementing and closing out agreed business improvement programs, and fostering a change culture through your knowledge of advanced methodologies and supporting frameworks for successful delivery.

 

This role could be based in either Adelaide, Sydney or Melbourne with flexible agile working options.

 

About You

The industry you come from is not as important as your ability to adapt to various business units (Marine, Human Resources, Corporate, Aviation, Defence – just to name a few) and successfully deliver business improvement initiatives and innovative solutions that deliver productivity and efficiency benefits.

 

To be successful you will bring:

 

  • Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Commonwealth Security Clearance
  • Ability to challenge existing processes and facilitate improvement workshops
  • Significant leadership level experience with company-wide transformation programs
  • Strong business acumen, change management, organisational change and project management experience
  • Adaptability to mould to any industry type and make significant impact
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (highly desirable)
  • Exceptional negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally as well as service providers
