The role
As a Fitness Instructor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Efficiently and effectively operating the gymnasium, sports and fitness equipment, fitness classes and assisting users where necessary.

Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

• The delivery of Fitness classes daily for service and civilian personnel.
• The delivery of personal training programmes and advice to customers as required.
• Undertaking daily Health and Safety checks on all fitness equipment and facilities within RAF Henlow for serviceability and cleanliness and the recording of the inspection. Rectifying any deficiencies either by direct action or the call out of outside contractors, thereby providing effective daily management and maintenance of the Gymnasium facility
• Assisting the Gym Administrator with gym inductions, ensuring that the correct Health and Safety information is provided, and that fingerprints are taken correctly and safely secured.                                

This role is full time and based onsite at our RAF Henlow site.

Essential experience of the Fitness Instructor:

• Computer Literate – Good knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel 
• Experience of working unsupervised in a face-to-face fitness environment.
• Circuit Training experience

Qualifications for the Fitness Instructor:

• Level 2 Fitness Instructor minimum/Level 3 Personal Trainer preferable

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS security clearance for this role.
