About the role

Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit an SCAS Administrator.


Reporting to the Supply Manager via the Team Leader Supply Control and Accounting Section (SCAS) the SCAS Administrator is responsible and accountable for the correct and efficient operations of all SCAS related tasks and functions IAW with regulations in the Defence Logistics Framework (DLF) and associated Air Logistics Instructions (ALIs). The SCAS Administrator is to ensure their AOR meets or exceeds customer expectations and HADES contractual needs at all times.

  • The compliant use of the LogIS system MJDI iaw re MJDI Local – Security Operating Instructions (SyOps) MJDI-­TRG0104 – MJDI Local Operations Manual Version B5.2 and MJDI User Guide Chapter 17 – Discoverer User Guide.   
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the quadrennial stocktaking program. The production and progression of the Stock Count Lists (SCL)
  • Actioning direct supply request and progressing direct supply and WADS orders.
  • Prompt actioning of all requests for external issues by higher authorities.
  • All stock identification requests.
  • Control and review of SMB and Unit set EVFs on MJDI.
  • Progression of Discrepancy Reports, TDRs, DRs In and DRs Out.  


What do I need to do the role?


You’ll need previous experience of working in a military logistics environment specifically RAF TG 18 and hold a full UK driving license.


What else do I need to know?


  • All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and be subject to satisfactory security clearance which includes 3 years reference checks. Verification of any qualifications/passport/licences must be shown at interview stage.
