The role
As a Passes and Permits Clerk, you'll have a role that is out of the ordinary. You'll be at the heart of our operations and part of a team that values security, efficiency, and collaboration. You'll be responsible for ensuring smooth and secure access for all personnel and vehicles to RAF Shawbury.
- You'll be the go-to person for generating and distributing personnel and vehicle passes, ensuring everyone has the access they need.
- You'll handle the processes of GDPR documentation, ensuring compliance and protecting sensitive information.
- You'll work closely with our security team and other departments to coordinate access and maintain a secure environment.
- You'll oversee our internal systems, keeping everything running smoothly and maintaining accurate records.
- You'll engage with various stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and fostering strong working relationships.
This role is Part Time and based onsite at RAF Shrewsbury. You will work Mon and Tues 6.5hrs and Wed 3.25hrs, OR Wed 3.25, Thursday and Friday 6.5 with flexibility to cover.
Essential experience of the Passes and Permits Clerk
- Proficiency with computers is a must. We'll provide comprehensive training on the SISYS access control system.
- Ideally, you'll have experience in a similar role or one that involves handling GDPR documentation.
- A valid UK Driver’s Licence is required for this role.

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance for this role.
