The role
As an Integrated Readiness Solution Lead, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll play a pivotal role in one of the UK's most significant defence transformation programmes. Working at the heart of the Logistics Information and Operational Support (LIOS) programme, you'll help define how asset management, logistics, engineering, maintenance, supply chain and readiness capabilities come together to support the British Army of the future.
Day-to-day, you'll be required to:
- Leading the development of the future integrated readiness operating model, bringing together engineering, logistics, maintenance, asset management and supply chain capabilities.
- Engaging with senior Ministry of Defence, military and internal stakeholders to understand requirements and shape strategic solutions.
- Identifying capability gaps, improvement opportunities and transformation priorities to support future readiness objectives.
- Collaborating with cross-functional programme teams to ensure an integrated end-to-end support proposition across the wider LIOS programme.
- Developing operating model designs, transformation roadmaps, business cases and strategic solution proposals.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Integrated Readiness Solution Lead
- Experience leading the design and delivery of complex operating models, transformation programmes or integrated support solutions.
- Expertise across asset management, engineering support, logistics, maintenance, supply chain or operational readiness environments.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and building alignment across customer, operational, technical and commercial communities.
- A track record of developing future-state strategies, transformation roadmaps and performance improvement initiatives.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within defence, aerospace, engineering or other asset-intensive sectors.
Qualifications for the Integrated Readiness Solution Lead
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Asset Management, Business, Operations Management or a related discipline.
- Chartered professional status or equivalent professional recognition – desirable
- Project or Programme Management qualification – desirable
- Professional accreditation in Asset Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or Systems Engineering – desirable
- Experience within defence, military support or integrated logistics environments – desirable

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
