The Role
As the Head of Production Engineering you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for guiding our production facilities through a significant period of change. 

Day-to-day, you’ll lead on the strategy to design, planning and deployment of automated manufacturing capabilities. 

• Lead in the transformation to an industry 4.0 operating environment 
• Lead and direct the engineering platform support teams across sites 
• Develop and manage the supply chain requirements 
• Provide technical and engineering support to the operations team 
• Make recommendations for facility capital expenditures in support of wider strategy 

This position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements

Experience required of the Head of Production Engineering

• Strong background in production engineering 
• Experience of introducing advanced manufacturing / automation systems 
• Experience of leading multi-discipline teams 
• Have lead business through change / transformation

Qualifications for the Head of Production Engineering

• Degree qualified in relevant engineering subject 
• Chartered engineer status or working towards
