As a Contract Support Assistant, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will coordinate and oversee travel arrangements for Babcock employees within your area of responsibility.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Support the coordination and oversight of medicals, inoculations, and training compliance for all deployed personnel
- Manage ad hoc requests related to employee medical and travel bookings
- Liaise with external suppliers and maintain accurate use of booking systems.
This role is part time working 22 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office and Friday working from home. Friday afternoons (12–4pm) are a fixed requirement, with flexibility to arrange the additional 2 working days to suit the candidate’s availability.
Essential experience of the Contract Support Assistant:
- Proven experience in personal assistance, administration, or customer service roles
- Skilled in managing ad hoc and last-minute requests with efficiency and composure
- Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively.
Qualifications for the Contract Support Assistant:

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
