The role
As an Asset Value Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This is an exciting opportunity to work in cohesion with the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD). This contract provides comprehensive equipment support and fleet management services for the British Army. Planning and Asset Management is a new service category under the Service Provision and Transformation Contract (SPTC).

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be pivotal in supporting the development of the strategic vision for asset management, building an edge through digital solutions, and leveraging data-driven insights to optimise cost, risk and performance of assets across the enterprise.  

 

  • Develop a systematic approach to effective identification, evaluation and quantification of financial and non-financial value drivers associated with equipment support activities and associated assets in the Army’s equipment portfolio.
  • Multi criteria modelling to carry out analysis and assessment of financial and non-financial value drivers to enable comparison and sophisticated techniques for the presentation of non-financial factors.
  • Forecasting the impact of value drivers, employing a range of methods and tools to predict future value patterns 
  • Define the capture and reporting requirements for all value drivers, including those from external sources.
  • Track and manage these data sources to ensure information is timely, accurate and current


This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office/onsite and days working from home.

 

This role can be based at one of the following sites: Andover, Ashchurch, Bovington, Donnington or Warminster.

 

Essential experience of the Asset Value Manager:

  • Experience utilising data to identify insights and help develop clear and concise narratives for business reporting
  • Advanced analytical skills 
  • Experienced with Share-Point, Visio, Excel, Power Point and Word 
  • Knowledge of SAP and other Business Reporting Tools 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently present to stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
