The role
As a Aircraft Inspector, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Supervising and leading in scheduled servicing and corrective maintenance on Company Aircraft and Equipment.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll supervise and carry out Flight-line operations i.e., Preparation of aircraft for daily flying, “see-in” and “see-off”, fuel and oil replenishment. Daily Check A maintenance, as well as:

  • Undertake and supervise scheduled and corrective maintenance of the LAFT Aircraft fleet.
  • Complete “all” documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedures
  • Complete all aircraft and equipment maintenance documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedures.
  • Supervise and carry out Flight-line operations in accordance with company procedures.

 

This role is full time and based onsite at Boscombe Down.

 

Essential experience of the Aircraft Inspector:

  • Experience of the Aviation industry.
  • Can be either Civil or Military background.
  • Mentor or Supervisory experience.

 

Qualifications for the Aircraft Inspector:

  • Recognised Aircraft Apprenticeship, Military experience or NVQ level 3 or equivalent

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS security clearance for this role.
