The role

As a Site Manager, you’ll take the lead at one of our key Aviation sites, overseeing a team of around 120 people and ensuring the effective delivery of HADES services across RAF Northolt. This is a role where your leadership, commercial awareness and ability to build strong partnerships will directly influence service quality, operational excellence and long‑term customer confidence.

You’ll have responsibility for the overall management of site departments, ensuring compliance with all MOD and Babcock policies, processes and procedures. You’ll report directly to the Region 2 Manager and play a vital part in sustaining high‑performance operations across the region.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

 

  • Leading and developing a team of c.120 employees across multiple operational departments
  • Managing the contracted deliverables to ensure performance, quality and safe systems of work
  • Acting as the primary interface for the Air Commercial Team and Contract Monitoring Team
  • Overseeing financial performance, budgets and continuous improvement activities
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and strong relationships across key stakeholders.

 

This role is full time working 37.5 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Northolt, Greater London.

 

Essential experience of the Site Manager:

  • Experience managing large, diverse teams in an engineering operations or customer‑facing environment
  • Knowledge of Military Aviation Operations and MAA regulations (advantageous)
  • Experience in budget and P&L management, including cost modelling
  • Proven stakeholder management and relationship‑building experience
  • Strong capability in investigation, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
