The Project Engineer - Internal role is based within Marine Engineering & Systems.
At our site in Rosyth, we aim to deliver engineering-led and world-leading products and services across our engineering, specialised manufacturing, gas handling systems and naval marine businesses
The role
The difference our new Project Engineer - Internal will make
As a Project Engineer - Internal you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Interfacing with other disciplines - including the clear assignment of tasks, required scope, objectives and time scales to ensure efficient working practices to achieve the required project objectives and deliverables schedules
Day to day, you’ll set-up and on-going maintenance of the project administration, be involved in the application of the Project Management/Risk Plan, record/collect the progress of tasks/activities and keeping the project plan updated and readily available. Submit project deliverables on schedule, and controlled recording of mitigating circumstances (on a regular formal basis) in the event of disruption or delay, prepare technical specifications and information to enable timely placing of Purchase Orders to meet project requirements and target expediting and liaison of key suppliers to ensure full visibility of supplier related issues that could affect project progress.
