As a Site Utilisation Manager, you’ll play a central role in delivering high‑quality, efficient and customer‑focused facilities management services across our Rosyth site. This is your opportunity to shape how our teams and commercial tenants experience their working environment — ensuring our infrastructure enables them to safely deliver engineering and defence programmes that protect people, communities, and national security.
You’ll be at the heart of a dynamic site, driving continuous improvement across soft facilities services, enhancing occupancy management, and supporting bids that help secure future work. This is a role where you’ll make a tangible impact on daily operations while building a rewarding career in a complex, meaningful industry that supports the UK’s defence, aerospace and engineering capabilities.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of flexible, cost‑effective and efficient soft facilities management services.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality and customer care.
- Manage building occupancy for internal business units and external commercial tenants.
- Support facility‑related bids to help secure future work and commercial opportunities.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across teams, suppliers and tenants.
This position is full‑time, working 36 hours per week (Mon–Thurs), based onsite at Rosyth.
Essential experience of the Site Utilisation Manager:
- Managing soft facilities services within a large multi‑site organisation.
- Working with SFG20 building engineering maintenance standards.
- Building strong customer care practices and using feedback to drive improvements.
- Applying extensive knowledge of buildings management and soft service operations.
- Compiling facilities maintenance specifications and tender documentation.
Qualifications for Site Utilisation Manager:
- Degree or equivalent, or IWFM Level 4 or 5 in Facilities Management, Engineering or Business Management.
- Additional FM‑related professional memberships or training preferred.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
