The role
As a Senior Project Manager (Construction), you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This role will lead construction and facilities areas across the programme and is accountable for the performance and results of related scope.
Day-to-day, you’ll work with Engineering, Facilities, Commercial and Supply Chain to define, plan, monitor and control the successful delivery of the project construction scope. You will also:
- Manage customer and stakeholder interfaces
- Lead the project construction scope to deliver performance
- Establishing and maintaining governance arrangements for the project, particularly in the supply chain subcontracts and delivery.
- Accountable for planning and monitoring the construction projects, including supplier performance
This role is full time, 36 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Senior Project Manager (Construction)
- Extensive recent and relevant experience in a similar environment, particularly construction or facilities management
- Experienced in contracting methodologies (particularly NEC or equivalent).
- CDM 2015 Regulations Experience
- Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out.
- Managed projects of varying type and significant complexity: including varying products, services, across all phases of the lifecycle
