The role
As a Quality Assurance Manager T31 you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The T31 Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for supporting Babcock Marine UK Shipbuilding quality strategy, ensuring that all products and services meet established quality standards and customer expectations.
 

Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management strategy aligned with organisational goals.
  • Establish quality metrics and benchmarks to measure and improve performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA Engineers and specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of quality assurance processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards.


This role is full time and based onsite at Rosyth.

 

Essential experience of the Quality Assurance Manager T31:

  • Relevant experience in quality management and within a leadership role in a shipbuilding environment.
  • Proven experience in quality control or assurance within specific industry, e.g., naval, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive.


Qualifications for the Quality Assurance Manager T31:

  • Chartered Quality Professional or equivalent certification is preferred.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
