The role
As a Project Controller, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will join a new team working on a complex and challenging engineering project in the nuclear sector, within a nuclear related infrastructure development project.

 

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for project performance and governance reporting, providing critical management information to inform decision making at all levels of the programme. You will also:

  • Support the Project Planner in the development, baselining and maintaining of the Project integrated schedule (Level 1-3) and capturing clear communication/reporting outputs.
  • Support the Risk Managers in the development and maintaining of the Project Risk & Opportunity registers, and mitigation actions,
  • Develop/implement and maintain the Project Baseline Budgets and regular cost/EV reporting.
  • Collate and generate all defined project reporting, ensuring alignment to contract and governance requirements.
  • Provision of weekly and monthly performance reports and associated analysis, making recommendations for key improvement actions across all performance measures.

 

This role is full time, 36 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home.

 

Essential experience of the Project Controller 

  • Relevant experience in a similar environment/business sector
  • Application of project control toolsets
  • Full project lifecycle experience
  • Worked on multiple projects of varying products and services and across a number of lifecycle phases

 

Qualifications for the Project Controller

  • Project Planning and Controls – Foundation
  • Project Fundamentals Qualification
